Video: A Little Tag and Cardmaking Trick

I haven’t posted a blog entry in a very long time, due to health crises with my son. But I find immersing myself in making something, a welcome and necessary escape from the stress of all that.

It all started with my “materials notebook” slowly morphing into more of an Art Journal. Before I knew it, I was papercrafting and cardmaking up a storm. I had to do something with all that beautiful paper I’ve been collecting.

My hand-lettering is not yet card-worthy, so …While searching online for a good way to print, stamp or write a sentiment on my cards, I came across a great post by Kay at  Her amazing download freebies inspired the following video and my own take on her original design.   Her generosity also inspired me to share my version as a freebie.  Link is below the video.

or add your own greetings.

Thanks so much for your tutorial and the Freebies. I am just not talented enough to do something like this on my own…..maybe with lots of classes…..
Hope your son is doing well. As a Nurse
who worked with Special Needs children and the grandmother of a Special Needs grandson, I fully understand the stress, fears and anxiety that you experience.

Hello greetings from California. I don’t usually reply but I knew that I needed to thank you for the time you took to make these labels. There are so many talented ladies out there who share their talent with those of us who would love to know how to but don’t know where to start. Thanks so much and may you and your family find comfort to know that there are people who care and are praying for you.
